Six-Week Intensive Online Courses
Do you find as a parent that on some days things flow smoothly and on others, they don’t?
Maybe you’re struggling with finding time for yourself or aren’t getting the support you need to be the parent you want to be. Maybe you are just not getting enough sleep. Some parents say, “But I’m doing everything the books say and still it’s not working”. “I’m parenting gently and my child is still doing unenjoyable things like biting, hitting and shouting or not sleeping”.
I have developed a six-week course so that you can fundamentally shift how you are presently parenting. I will help you get a deep understanding of what is happening for your child. I will also help you identify issues that may be getting in the way of you being the parent you want to be.
I work mostly from an Aware Parenting approach that is influenced by Gestalt Psychotherapy. I also use other methodologies to help shift emotional beliefs or events that may constrain your parenting. When we parent, the parts of ourselves that still hurt and have been disowned, will often be the parts we struggle to hear in our own children.
This course is designed to give you a deep understanding of what may be happening for your child as well as practical solutions for bringing connection, cooperation, and joy back into parenting.
